The action takes place during the Second World War in the battle zone over the Black Sea coast. Soviet sailors track down an enemy submarine. Meanwhile, the commander of the Sea Hunter, along with one of the sailors, is not returning from intelligence. Young patriots Katya and Lida report to the boat about the signal of unknown friends who noticed a submarine. Thanks to this, Soviet sailors drown an enemy boat, and the brave reconnaissance Katya, who knows the mountain paths of the coast well, discovers a Sea Hunter commander and a seriously wounded sailor in one of the caves ..

Marine Life revolves around the choatic family life of June, a middle-aged lounge singer and mother. Aging and twice divorced, lounge singer June Nordstrom tries to cope with her fading beauty, her troubled offspring, her waning career and her young lover, who begins seeing a woman his age behind June's back.

Marine is rightly named the "Necklace of Bombay", however, some criminal elements have been misusing this street to carry out their smuggling activities. One such individual is Khanna (K.N.Singh) and the other is his sidekick, Ajit (Ajit). On one occasion their gold smuggling plans go haywire, and the entire consignment is confiscated by the police. Owing large sums of money to their creditors, the two hatch a scheme in which Ajit must woo and marry Khanna`s niece, Bina Khanna (Bina Rai), marry her, and then kill her, and take over her wealth and estate. Things go as planned, and Bina eventually falls in love with Ajit. Ajit too starts to fall in love with Bina, and makes his intentions known to Khanna, who has him beaten-up, tied-up, and confined. Khanna then devises his own plan, which includes killing his brother Sunderlal Khanna (Hari Shivdasani), and then slowly driving his niece mad, and he will not let anyone stand in his way.

Shekharan is a young vibrant guy who has returned back to India from the USA. The highly popular TV series of the 90s, setup in a circus backdrop, follows lives of the artists of the troupe, unravelling different shades of characters, as they struggle with the tricky yet very realistic situations, life throws on them. Circus connects with the audience for its strong storytelling spun of the fundamental human emotions churned out from the harsh realities of life.

I have little recollection of filming this except for reacting with a kind of instinctive horror to the subjugation of these large animals, and to some extent the people, to tawdry entertainment. It was a small, shabby, improvised outdoor circus somewhere in Long Island under harsh lights at night. Even back then, it was rare to find such a display without camp or self-recognition of any kind.
